What a crazy world we’re living in.
I’m sure that like me, your business has been severely impacted by Covid-19. For instance, a big chunk of my work is providing video coverage for large events that attract visitors from around the country (and in some cases the world). Obviously that’s on hold for the foreseeable future, as are in person interviews and promo videos.
But even with most of the Pacific Northwest shut down, your business still needs to attract customers and connect with your audience. As we slowly open up the economy and start back to work, Oregon businesses are going to need to be effective in how they spend their marketing dollars, while still finding ways to expand their footprint.
That’s where video comes in. Effective video marketing can help your business stand out from the crowd.
So how can I help your business utilize video during a pandemic?
First, I have upgraded my live-streaming equipment, because I expect demand will be high in the second half of 2020. If you have an event planned that you’re going to have to cancel, or take it remote, live-streaming is a great option. And while we’re all used to Zoom meetings with crummy audio and webcams, it doesn’t take much of an investment to have professional level sound and video for your live-stream event.
What about video promos? If you have an outdoor business, drone footage is one of the safest forms of recording you can do. Nothing says social distancing like keeping your camera hundreds of feet above the ground!
While a full, on-premises promo video may be difficult right now, there’s still a lot we can do without putting anyone at risk. Product video can be done in my home studio. And i can get high quality footage of your business without customers or employees (something that can actually be more difficult under normal circumstances, as it either requires shooting during off times or closing down for a few hours).
I am also committed to filming as safely as possible. Whereas normally I would shoot with at least two cameras and have a two to three person crew, during this period, i will be encouraging clients to take a more scaled down approach, with just me filming, and the minimal amount of equipment we can get away with. This will allow for a much quicker set up, and will save you money without sacrificing any quality.
Don’t let the pandemic stop you from doing what’s best for your business. If you need video, we’ll figure out a way to film in a safe and practical manner. Contact me today to learn how.
