Video Highlights: Oregon City Public
Works Pavement Process

Have you ever wondered about the best way to promote your business or company using video? Here’s an example of a video I made for Oregon City Public Works that highlights how to tell your brand story and showcase your team in an organic way.

Tell Your Company Story

One of the main reasons to hire a video production company to help market your Oregon business is to convey what makes your company unique. A brand video is a great way to speak directly to your potential customers and highlight your company culture and unique history in a way that will resonate.

For this particular video, Oregon City wanted to share with the public the hows and whys of the way their process works, from deciding which streets are priorities for renovation, to determining the best technique for efficiently and effectively repairing damaged streets. We combined high quality interviews with stellar drone footage and b-roll to really grab the audience’s attention in an informative manner.

Show off your employees

Oregon is home to great people who enthusiastically go about their jobs every day. A company video is a great to not only highlight your professional team for your potential customers, but it’s also an excellent way to build morale within the company.

I knew based on our conversations that it was important to Oregon City Public Works that these videos spotlight their staff and let the public know that their employees really care about the community. There’s no better way to convey that message than with video.

Create content for multiple channels

Video is a big investment, and in order to maximize its value, you want to make sure that you can use it across all of your marketing channels. Whenever I’m approached by a local business about producing a video, my first question is always how is your audience going to find this video. That’s why all of my packages include social media cutdowns that are appropriate for sharing on Instagram and Facebook, in addition to longer versions for the company website.

That’s exactly what I did for this Oregon City project. Not only did every full length video include two 30-second cutdowns, but I also produced extra content on interesting topics that didn’t really fit in one of the longer videos, but which I still thought might be of interest to their audience.

Drones show your company from a new angle

Oregon is one of the most scenic spots on Earth, and it’s likely that your business could really benefit from drone footage. You might think that your indoor office or store isn’t conducive to drone footage, but all you have to do is be creative about how to shoot a company video. For example, why not take your employees outside to get interviewed for the company video? Then a drone makes perfect sense.

For Oregon City Public Works, we not only shot footage of their employees in action, but we also took some scenic drone shots of beautiful Oregon City, including Willamette Falls, and iconic scenic spots like the downtown elevator.

Your company is in Oregon, so why not take advantage of the amazing scenery when producing your marketing video.
